How do I play on my keyboard?

Keys A through K play white keys (Shuddha notes), and W/E/T/Y/U play black keys (Vikrit notes). The Sargam label is shown on each key.

What is Sargam notation?

Sargam is the Indian equivalent of Do-Re-Mi. The seven notes — Sa, Re, Ga, Ma, Pa, Dha, Ni — form the foundation of Indian classical music. Our keyboard displays both Sargam and Western notation.

Can I practice ragas on this harmonium?

Yes. Choose a raga and the keyboard highlights the matching notes while dimming the rest. Eight ragas are available: Yaman, Bhairav, Bhimpalasi, Kafi, Bilawal, Bageshree, Malkauns, and Ahir Bhairav.

What is the Tanpura drone?

The Tanpura provides a continuous background drone on Sa and Pa, creating the tonal foundation for raga practice. Toggle it on in the full studio to hear the drone while you play.

Can I record my playing?
